Gol Linhas Aéreas has taken delivery of an Airbus A330-900.
The aircraft, ferried from Teruel in Spain to Brazil on 9 September, is expected to enter the Brazilian registration process as PS-WGH and will support Gol’s preparation for future long-haul operations.
The widebody previously flew with Azul. It was built in 2019 and has 377 seats.
It is understood to be part of Gol’s certification programme for the A330neo type, with initial domestic positioning and training activity centred on Rio de Janeiro/Galeão and planned sectors including Salvador and Belém.
The aircraft is expected to remain with Gol only for a limited period before transfer to Avianca, another airline in the Abra group.
